Rosemarie Fitzpatrick Obituary

FITZPATRICK, Rosemarie, 79, of Sebring, Fla., passed away peacefully Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Good Shepherd Hospice. She was born August 8, 1931, in Johnstown, Pa. She was preceded in death by her parents, John E. and Evalina (Barringer) Gray, and her brother, Jack Gray. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ron Fitzpatrick of Sebring, Fla.; son, Terry and wife, Wilma, of Pilesgrove, N.J.; daughter, Karen Schmidt and husband, Bruce, of Windber, Pa.; grandchildren, Aaron Mulhollen, Joy Frazier, Lauren Fitzpatrick and Logan Fitzpatrick; great-grandchildren, Mary Anne, Payton and Asher; sister, Judith Rhoades; and sister-in-law, Joan Askey, both of Johnstown, Pa. Rosemarie was a quiet person who got things done in her own quiet ways. She was proud of her Irish heritage and visited her family homestead in Lochrea, County Galway, Ireland, several times. She was most proud of being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. A memorial service will take place at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Atonement Lutheran Church, 1178 Lakeview Drive, Sebring, with the Rev. Jefferson Cox, assisted by Deacon David Thoresan, officiating. A celebration of Rosemarie's life will immediately follow the service at the Whisper Lake Mobile Home Park club house. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Atonement Lutheran Church or Good Shepherd Hospice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stephenson-Nelson
