SARDINEER, JR., Samuel C., 73 passed away unexpectedly at his home in Tampa. Born on March 7, 1940 in New Homestead Pa, Sam was a loving son of the late Margaret and Samuel Sardineer. Sam was a caring brother of Rosann Sardineer Boyens and Shirley Sardineer Schell, an uncle of Teresa Tippins Flammio, and grand uncle of Sophia Flammio. He was the nephew of many aunts and uncles and their extended families, predominantly in Pittsburgh and Charlotte. A Florida resident since 1953, Sam graduated from DeLand High and Daytona Beach Jr. College and served in the U.S. Army. Sam lived many years in Daytona Beach; and upon retirement from Sherwood Medical in DeLand, he relocated to Tampa. True to his heritage, Sam was a wonderful cook of Hungarian specialties. He enjoyed traveling, watching the Rays and Bucs, and the company of friends in Tampa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Sam's memory, to the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida. A memorial service will be held in Tampa at 10 AM Sat, June 29, at the MacDill Chapel, Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Avenue, Tampa, FL.
