TAYLOR, Sarah Jane, 82, went to be with the Lord on June 17, 2013. She was born in Tampa, Florida to Winifred Mary and George Thomson Taylor, who emigrated from Great Britain. She attended local schools, graduating from Plant High School in 1948. She worked for forty years for First Florida Bank in various departments, ending her career in the trust department. She enjoyed traveling on road trips throughout the United States and overseas with friends. She particularly loved to visit her cousins, Jean Russell in Scotland, Jack and Mamie Morehead and Tom and Eileen Turnbull in England. Sarah also enjoyed photographing animals, historical landmarks and architecture in the Tampa area. She took great delight in caring for her devoted dog Toby. She was predeceased by both of her brothers, Thomas A. T. Taylor and Peter J. T. Taylor, and her sister-in-law Jane Duke Taylor. Sarah will be greatly missed by her nieces Carole T. Kirkwood and her husband, Dan, and Susan T. Schnitzlein and her husband, Paul; and grandnieces and grandnephews Peter, Jim and Wendy Kirkwood and Ellen, Matt and Nathan Schnitzlein. A memorial service will be held on July 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church with Dr. John T. DeBevoise officiating.
