CHESLER, Thomas "Tom," 78, of Tampa, died Sunday, April 22, 2012. Mr. Chesler came to Tampa in 1973 from his native Ohio. He was a pharmacist, a graduate of Ohio Northern University and proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the former Beth Israel Congregation, a former member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom and a member of Congregation Kol Ami. Survivors include his beloved wife of 56 years, Harriet; sons and daughters-in-law, Max and Pam Chesler of Tampa and Eric and Sherry Chesler of Atlanta, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Jeffrey Tashman of Woodstock, NY and Debi and Manuel Wolfe of Hudson, FL; sister, Rhoda Robuck, Cleveland, OH; and cherished grandchildren, Michael, Philip, Samantha, Shayne, Ben, Rebecca, Sarah, Danielle, Jake, Melissa and Lauren. Funeral services will be held today, Tuesday, 12:30 PM at Congregation Kol Ami, 3919 Moran Road, Tampa. Interment will follow at Gan Shalom Cemetery.
