BROWNELL, Vicky Mae Leonard, 68, born May 28, 1944, in Ionia county to Ovol and Marie Leonard of Palo, Michigan, went to be with her Lord and Savior November 17, 2012. She was raised in Palo, attended Ionia High School. She was employed at Oreida Foods in Greenville and later at Amway Corporation of Ada, until she moved to Florida with her husband, George Brownell. She lived and worked as a secretary at Country Air Village for 18 years in Zephyrhills until she retired to Dade City. She enjoyed spending time with her children and family. She was a member of Pasadena Baptist Church of Dade City. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Jeffery Allen Smith and George Brownell Jr., both of Michigan; and her parents. She is survived by her husband, George Brownell of Dade City; and 2 sons, Timothy (Ann) Smith, Bryan Smith; and daughter, Kimberly Miller all of Michigan; siblings, Zoeanne Toth, Mary (Dean) Perry, Becky (Nick) Waddell, Walter Leonard, all of Florida, Skip (Donna) Leonard of Palo, Mike Leonard of Lansing, Ruth (Terry) Brown of Hastings, Kitty (Steve) Hopkins of Greenville, Julie (Bill) Lawrence of Rockford, all of Michigan. She has several nieces and nephews and several grandchildren of Michigan. Celebration of her life will be Tuesday, November 20, 2012, 2pm at Pasadena Baptist Church in Dade City, Florida.
