ADAMS, Walter B., 77, of Riverview, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy L. Adams of Riverview; son, Gary J. Adams of Vancouver, Wa.; daughter, Sandra E. Reed of Valrico; sister, Edna Mae George of Harrisburg, Pa.; and two grandchildren. A native of Gibbstown, N.J., he resided in Riverview, since 1997, coming from Ingleside, Texas. He worked in the oil refining business until 1984, and moved his family from N.J. to Saudia Arabia, to the U.S. Virgin Islands, to Puerto Rico, then to Texas. He loved to fish and was a Master Gardener in Texas and in Florida. He was a Veteran, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. The family wishes to thank friends and neighbors for the kindness and understanding they've shown during his illness. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends one hour prior.
