EARLY, William T., of Saginaw, Michigan. Beloved husband, father, grand- father, great-grand-father and brother passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at HPH Hospice in Brooksville, Florida. Age 85 years. The son of the late William and Emma (Sprong) Early, Bill was born December 29, 1926 in Lansing, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. Bill married Joanne Goslin on June 17, 1989. She survives him. He was employed at Dudley Paper Company, which was later acquired by Copco Paper Business, for 44 years until his retirement in 1988. Bill was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and also St. Theresa Catholic Church, Spring Hill. He served on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters and served on the parish councils of St. Helen and Stephen Catholic Churches. He enjoyed playing Bridge and golfing. Surviving besides his wife, Joanne, are nine children and their spouses, William and Cathy Early, Thomas and Lynn Early, Jeanne and John Duhon, Brigid Duhon, John and Janet Early, Amy and John Bedore, Paul Early, Anne and Allen Wilkinson, Molly and Kirk Higby; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four step-children, Jerry Goslin, Terri Goslin-Jones and her husband Bob, Tim and Saviera Goslin, Tod and Debbie Goslin; eight step-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara and Robert Heinritz, Mary Ellen Wood; many nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by two infant children, Joseph and Mary; and by one sister, Patricia Winans. Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Saginaw, Michigan. Rev. Fr. David Parsch will officiate. Interment will take place Monday at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Lansing, Michigan. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., in Saginaw, where the family will be present on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
