WIELGOS, Cecilia Ann (Pich), age 96, of Tampa, formerly of Cicero, Illinois (Chicago). Celia was called by the Lord & died peacefully on May 16th, 2014. She is survived by her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Virginia Marie & Larry Jopek of Tampa, her beloved granddaughter, Jessica Jopek Ashbaugh, PhD, & husband, Scott, of Miami, Florida, and favorite nephew Ronald Pich (Penny) of Lombard, Illinois. Celia is pre-deceased by her husband, Eugene Francis Wielgos, parents Josef and Emma Simek Pich, and brother, George Pich (Dorothy Kalka), all of Chicago.Born in Chicago April 13, 1918, Celia had a passion for music, as was evidenced by long participation in the Choir at (then) Blessed Agnes of Bohemia Parish in Chicago, enjoyment of classical music, and ability at the piano. She was also fluent and literate in Czech as a 2nd language. Before becoming a homemaker, she worked as a stenographer and secretary at the corporate headquarters of Sears, Roebuck & Co. in Chicago. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 on Wednesday, May 28th, at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, where she has been a member since moving to the area in 1990. There will also be a visitation opportunity from 11:30-1:30 at Blount & Curry (MacDill location) preceding the Mass. Burial will take place at St. Adalbert's Cemetery in Chicago on June 2, 2014.
