WILBANKS, Furman (Rennie), 66, of Zephyrhills, FL, joined his son in heaven on July 17, 2014. Furman was born January 6th, 1948, in Newberry, SC, to Perry Wilbanks and Virginia (Lyles) Wilbanks. He was a racecar driver and builder, and also a mechanic at Silverado Golf and Country Club. Survived by wife, Carleen Stippert; children, Maria Messick-Carpenter and Brent Carpenter, Jennifer Stippert and Tim Ryan; seven grandchildren, Jayson Matthew, Meagan, Amber, Carson, and Joey Messick/Carpenter and Emma and Ethan Ryan; brother, Terry Wilbanks; sister, Dianne Boheler; and nephews, Scott and Mark Wood. A memorial service for Mr. Wilbanks will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, July 22, at Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 Chapel in Dade City, with visitation from 10AM to 12PM at the funeral home.
