POLLARD, Frances Louise, 77, of Sebring went to be with her Lord, Mon-day morning, August 18, 2014 at her residence sur-round by her loving family. A native Floridian, Mrs. Pollard was born in Cross City on February 2, 1937 to parents, Bonnie (Taylor) and J. B. Barfoot. A long-time resident of Highlands County, Mrs. Pollard moved to Davie for several years before moving back in 1975. Mrs. Pollard atten-ded the Church of God in Lake Placid. An avid reader, Mrs. Pollard en-joyed a good novel, croch-eting and loved spending time with both her family and friends. Mrs. Pollard is survived by her loving hus-band, Walter, whom she married on June 22, 1956; daughters, Tina Pollard and Glenda Rodemick (Bill); six grandchildren; and a sister, Carolyn McPherson. Funeral services to cele-brate Mrs. Pollard's life will be held 2:30 PM on Thurs-day (Today) August 21, 2014 at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid with Pastor Terry Davis offic-iating. A visitation for family and friends will be one half hour before the service. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
