TORRENS, Oscar Henry "T-Man," 91, passed away September 16, 2011. His loving wife, Marian Lois Torrens, preceded him in death. He is survived by his seven children, Clara Ann Stephens and her husband, Keith, Penny Stanton and her husband, Richard, Patricia Neeley and her husband, Dennis, Edward Torrens and his wife, Mary Ann, Frank Torrens and his wife, Betty, Tara Torrens and Jacqui Torrens; sisters, Yolanda Velasco and Gloria Viera; and brothers Henry "Hank" Torrens and Alfred "Al" Torrens. He is also survived by his 16 grand-children, 23 great-grand-children and three great-great-grandchildren. Oscar was a veteran of World War II and served in the U.S. Army. He was the owner of Henry's Lock & Key Shop, which opened in 1932 and is still serving the Tampa Bay Area. He was an avid golfer and bowler. Family and friends will gather from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2011, at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, with graveside services to follow at 2 p.m. at the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Life Path Hospice in his memory.
