COUTU LAWRENCE, Virginia Rose, 77, a long-term resident of Tampa, Florida, went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2012. Virginia, an RN nurse, was born on March 1, 1935 in Tupper Lake, NY. A friend to everyone she met, she deeply touched the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing and spending time with her. While she loved crossword puzzles and crafts, her biggest joy in life came from her precious time with her family and friends. Her family is forever grateful for her presence and influence in their lives and the knowledge that she is now celebrating with the angels in heaven. Virginia will be deeply missed by her family until they are reunited in heaven, but her legacy lives on through them. Virginia is survived by her sister, Phyllis Navarro; brother, Jim Coutu; 3 daughters, Mary Mahoney, Darla Smith and Jill Spears and their spouses; 3 sons, Bill Lawrence and spouse, Bryan Lawrence and Jeff Lawrence; 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. At her request, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dade City Hospice. (www.hph-hospice.org)
