GARCIA, John, 87, of West Tampa, passed away on Sunday December 16, 2012. Born on March 31, 1925, he was a loving husband to his adoring wife, Josephine; loving father to his four children, Martha, Lorraine, Tammy, and Johnny; a kind and caring grandfather to his five grandchildren, Vivian, Terry, Jynell, Jerry, and Fernando; and his ten great-grandchildren. John was a great jokester who loved to dance and was always the life of the party. John loved going to the beach and just being together with his family. He was a hard working man and the backbone of his family and he always gave great advice. There will never be another man like him. John was deeply loved by all of his family and friends. He lived a great and wonderful life and will be greatly missed but never forgotten by all who knew him. A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday December 22, 2012, from 4 to 6PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home, with funeral services beginning at 5PM.
