LINTON, Nancy D., age 55, of Palatka, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Putnam Com-munity Medical Center after a short illness. She was a native of Dunedin, Florida and had lived in Palatka since 1989, coming from Tarpon Springs, Florida. She had worked for the last 8 years as Administrative Assistant with the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce and had attended Tabernacle Baptist Church. She loved her grandchildren very much and enjoyed interacting with people and her animals. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Linton; father, Ira Pittman; grandson, Austin Pittman; father-in-law, John Linton; and sister-in-law, Cindy Linton. She is survived by 2 daughters, Julie Linton and Sarah Pittman, both of Palatka; mother, Catherine Pittman of Tarpon Springs; foster son, Joel Devane of Palatka; sister, Beverly Brown & husband, Joda of Hudson, Florida; brother, Ira Pittman & wife, Michelle of Tarpon Springs; 7 grandchildren, Katie, Ryleigh, Wyatt, Lilly, Daniel, Amelya, and Kyndal; sister-in-law, Julie Linton of Palatka; mother-in-law, Jean Linton of Palatka; brother-in-laws, John Linton of Palatka and David Linton of Fayetteville, Arkansas; step-mother, Diane Pittman of Bowles, Arkansas along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Thursday, December 27 at the Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka with Pastor Wes Taylor officiating.
