KOMATER, Susan Ellen Marie (Q), of Tampa Fla., age 59, passed away peacefully, Sunday February 3, 2013, in her home surrounded by her family and friends. For over thirty years, Susan was a well respected massage therapist and was also known as an artist, a milliner, a nature enthusiast, a holistic health advocate, a cat lover, a world traveler, and devoted daughter, dear sister, loving aunt and close friend. Susan is survived by her parents, Mary and Rudolph Komater of Birmingham Alabama; her siblings, Carol Komater-Hewitt of St. Petersburg, Fla., Diane Komater, June Komater, Mark Komater and Chris Komater, of San Francisco Calif., and Paul Komater of Wallingford, Conn., and her nieces and nephews, Aimee Cowles and Megan Hewitt of Oakland, Calif., Nathan McClure, Sam McClure, Cassady Komater, Blake Komater, of San Francisco Calif. and Nicholas Komater of S. Windsor, Conn. Susan's lively, energetic and, unique style deeply touched and influenced all who knew her and she will be dearly remembered.
