VENEZIO, Frank W., passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 in Pasadena Hospital after several illnesses since Dec. 8, 2012. He is survived by wife, Margaret Evans-Venezio, of 23 years; his son, Eric Venezio of Seminole, Fl.; his daughter, Teal Venezio, of Seminole, Fl. and 2 grandchildren, Alex and Sofia; daughter, Leah Venezio, of Massachusetts; son, Frank Venezio, of Union, N.J.; stepson, Rob Evans, Seminole, Fl.; stepdaughter Jennifer Evans and step-grandson, Noah of Seminole, Fl; stepson , John Evans, of St. Petersburg, Fl.; stepson Christopher Evans and step grandson, Christopher of Quaker town, Pa. Survived by 2 sisters, Judy Estaben of Seminole, Fl. and Mary Jane Dorsey of N. Readington Shores and 3 nieces, 2 nephews, a grand-niece and grand-nephew. Frank was in the Navy from 1951 to 1954 on the USS Wasp and received the Medal of Honor. Frank moved to Fl. from N.J. in 1968. He became active in racing and was a member of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club and St. Petersburg Sailing Association. He owned several businesses including Suncoast Rent-A-Scooter, Suncoast Boat Rental on Treasure Island, and Suncoast Car Rental on Madeira Beach and St. Petersburg Beach. Memorial Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church in the chapel, located at 11501 66th.Ave. N. Seminole at 10 a.m. April 11. Memorials may be sent to Suncoast Hospice Foundation in memory of Frank w. Venezio.
