ROMAN, Conrad Belman, 70 of Tampa, passed away on April 20, 2013. Conrad was born in New York City in 1942. He entered the Army in 1961, and served in Japan. He played baseball in the Armed Forces, and after the Army, played in the minor leagues for the Kansas City Athletics. He lived most of his life in New York City, before moving to Tampa in 1983. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jennie Gordon; sister, Ruth Page; and niece, Jennifer Page. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Roman; son, Alexander Roman; cousins, Alma Fowler (Ron), David Soler; and extended family and friends. A service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Florida Mortuary, 4601 N. Nebraska Ave, Tampa FL 33603. Family will receive friends one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson's or Alzheimer's Society. His smile will be forever remembered.
