BELL, Robert (Bob), of Spring Hill, FL, passed away September 2, 2013. Bob was born in Coatesville, PA on November 23, 1926 to Mabel (Black) Bell and Ivan Bell. He attended Coatesville High School and served in the Army during World War II. After returning from the war, Bob had a career working for the Veterans Administration in Coatesville, PA and then in Boston, MA. Bob's interests included ham radio operator, senior tennis, and bow hunting. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed life. Earlier in life, Bob was an Eagle Boy Scout. This led to many years volunteering with the Boys Scouts of America. Preceding Bob in death was his wife of over 50 years, Marian Weaver Bell; and his brothers, William Bell and George Bell. Bob is survived by brother George's wife, Lois Richardson Bell, and his nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 13th at 11:00 am at The Residence of Timber Pines, Spring Hill, FL. Internment will be at Florida National Cemetery at 9:00am. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Boy Scouts of America in Bob's name.
