MIDULLA, Rose Perricone, 96, of Tampa passed away February 6, 2014. Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John G. Midulla. She is survived by her loving son, Joe P. Midulla, her longtime caregiver, and her daughter, Prudy Midulla Krawczyk and her husband John, grandchildren, Donna Rose Hardin and Connie Butera, six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Rose was a lifelong resident of Tampa. She worked for Hav-A-Tampa for 30 years before retirement. Rose enjoyed volunteering at St. Joseph Women's Hospital and spent time fund raising for breast cancer. Rose was of the Catholic faith and was a member of Catholic Daughters of America at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Italian Club of Tampa. The family appreciates the kindness and love shown to Rose by her friend Jean Philon who faithfully helped care for her until she passed away. Rose will be missed by her family and friends, and her memory will be with us forever. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice Indigo team and Hospice 24 hour. A Catholic funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, February 10, 2014 at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave., Tampa, FL. Entombment will follow in the L'Unione Italiana Mausoleum . The family will gather to receive friends on Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM with recitation of the Catholic Wake Rite at 7 PM at the funeral home chapel.
