FALVEY, Robert Paul Sr., 97, passed away March 1, 2014. Born February 11, 1917 to Hugh and Alice Falvey of Worcester, Mass. Robert was one of seven children, all preceding him in death. Robert was a veteran of WWII, serving in Europe as a Staff Sergeant of the Army. While serving he was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart with oak leaf clusters for wounds received on different occasions. Robert was married to his wife Millicent for 66 years before she passed in 2010. He leaves a son, Paul (Lillian) and their children, Bobby, Andrea; daughter, Marcia Nanna, and her children, Christine (Steve) Hart and their children, Steven, Abigail, Carol Nanna, Lisa (Nick) Paolini and their child, Maximus. He enjoyed life with his family and many years of service as a volunteer at Lake Placid Hospital and a member of the choir at St. James Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Elks. He touched many people with his kind words and songs. He will truly be missed. Memorial services will be at a later date at St. James.
