Obituary

McGough, John T., 86, passed away Friday, December 22, 2006, at home surrounded by his family; wife of 58 years, Margie; his two daughters and son-in-laws, Linda and Charles Otto, and Cheryl and John Taylor. John was a graduate of Abraham-Baldwin College in Tifton, Ga., and the Pensacola Naval Air Academy. He served in World War II in the Pacific, as a naval aviator from 1940 till 1946. He later retired from NASA in 1988 and was a member and elder of Riverside Presbyterian Church. He is also survived by his brother, Erle and eight grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Cocoa Beach, Fla. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, at Riverside Presbyterian Church.
