EDWARD L. SPARROW
Edward L. Sparrow, a loving, quiet and gentle man, passed from our lives early Wednesday morning, June 18, 2014 at the age of 94. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Anastos-Sparrow, along with the Haefner Family, the Anastos Family, the Johnston Family and the Johnson Family. Mr. Sparrow was born in Portland, Maine in 1920. Edward and his wife moved to Vero Beach over 20 years ago, coming from Upper Montclair, New Jersey. During World War II, Mr. Sparrow served his country from 1942-1946 in The United States Army stationed in the European African Middle Eastern Theatre in both Italy and Austria in the field of radio communications. Mr. Sparrow received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Math from The University of New Hampshire in 1950 and his Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Yale University in New Haven, CT in 1951. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach. A guest book is available at www.strunkfuneralhome.com
