Charlotte H. Brown

CHARLOTTE H. BROWN Charlotte H. Brown was born Charlotte Fern Hoyt to Silas Edward Hoyt and Emma B. Hoyt in Stamford. She attended Julia A. Stark Elementary School and graduated from Stamford High School. Early in her career she worked for Singer Sewing Machine. She worked for the Village Workshop in Cos Cob, CT as an interior decorator. She was there 25 years. Her hobby was working with stained glass. She was involved in the Lady's Aide in serveral of the churches that she belonged to. Most recently she attended First Church of God and loved to do visitation. She also volunteered at the Salvation Army. She was a resident of Vero Beach for 32 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Clinton Brown and her daughter Linnea Gugel. She is survived by her son, Clinton E. Brown and daughter-in-law Marion Brown. Four grandchildren, Michael Brown, Kathryn Brown, Matthew Gugel, Jaci Gugel and great grandchildren, Hannah Brown and Owen Brown. Memorial service at First Church of God, 1105 58th Avenue, Vero Beach, Friday, March 22, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Church of God Masters Academy School or the Salvation Army of Vero Beach. Paid Obituary
