DONALD KENNEDY KEITH Donald Kennedy Keith died in his 100th year in Vero Beach, Florida, on April 30, 2010. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Annette Jeanne Bauer, he is survived by his daughters, Julie Keith (Richard Pound) of Montreal and Gena Grove (Tyler Grove) of Vero Beach, his grandchildren, Keith Flavell (Sophia Melchers) of Montreal, Dana Turk (Peter Turk) of Summit, New Jersey, Christina Flavell (Michael Patterson) of Toronto and Andrew Harper (Rossana Diaz Harper) of Vero Beach, and seven great-grandchildren, Alex Harper, Anna and Owen Turk, Matthew Patterson and Jamie, Charlie and Elizabeth Flavell. Donald Keith was born and raised in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Amherst College. A long-time resident of Winnetka, Illinois, he retired as Executive Vice-President of Marshall Field & Company in Chicago where his ultimate project was the creation of the Water Tower Place on Michigan Avenue. Thereafter, he and his wife divided their time between homes in John's Island and Three Lakes in Wisconsin. He later resided at Oak Harbor in Vero Beach. His family wishes to express thanks to Sharon Oxford, his devoted caregiver and friend for the last six years. The memorial service will be private.
