George Delmar

GEORGE DELMAR George Delmar, of Ocala and Ft. Pierce, Florida, 79 years old passed away on April 2, 2013 under the care of the Treasure Coast Hospice in Ft. Pierce, Florida. He was born on May 9, 1933 on Staten Island, New York to Edward and Margaret Delmar. Survived by his wife, Linda Hansen Delmar of Ft. Pierce. Also survived by a daughter Darlene Delmar and a brother, Edward Delmar both of Staten Island, New York. Two granddaughters, Andrea and Stephanie Delmar of New Jersey survive. Additionally, survived by step-daughter Karen Tufte Heaning (John) of Ft. Pierce. A step-son, Brian Tufte and a step granddaughter Jennifer Tufte both of Port St. Lucie, Florida also survive. Mr. Delmar was predeceased by his son, Stephen Delmar and siblings Fred Kleff, Pat Cornell and Harold Delmar. Mr. Delmar was a US Army veteran who served proudly in the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. Mr. Delmar was retired from NYC Department of Environmental Protection as a supervisor in the Oakwood Beach waste water treatment facility. Private cremation through the Neptune Society. Internment will take place at Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island, New York. If so desired, memorial contributions to may be made. Paid Obituary
