LULA GALLAGHER


LULA GALLAGHER Lula Gallagher passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on March 12, 2013. Lula was born in Albemarle, N.C., 1931 - daughter of deceased parents, Eula McDowell and Ronnie Morris. She has five surviving children, David Moallem, Indialantic Beach, Mike Baker, Statesville, N.C.; Karla Green, Greg Baker, Teresa Baker of Melbourne; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Lula graduated from Albemarle High School as a member of the National Honor Society and from the Beauty College in Highpoint, N.C. Lula was the owner of Harbor City Hair Designs for 30 years in Melbourne, Fl. Lula belonged to the Red Hat Club and volunteered at King Center in Melbourne. Upon retiring, Lula moved to Fort Pierce and was a resident of High Point III. Lula belonged to the Red Hat Lunch Bunch in Highpoint; High Point bowling on a league and played Bocci and Bunco. Lula belonged to the Women's Club of High Point, the Elks Club and the America Legion. Lula has been a volunteer Guardian-Ad-Litem in St. Lucie County since 2007 and enjoyed working with children. Lula attended church the past year at First Church of the Nazarene. Lula especially loved her friends at High Point and all that was offered for retired seniors. Lula also enjoyed traveling to Japan, Germany, England, Hawaii, Alaska, South America and Canada, and recently took a tour of Italy, Spain and Portugal. Lula loved life to its fullest. Memorial Service will be held on March 22nd at 2 p.m. at the Davis Seawinds Funeral Home, Melbourne, FL. Memorial contributions can be made to Treasure Coast Hospice. Paid Obituary
