SALLY JOAN BERARD Sally Joan Berard, 98, passed away on Wednesday April 3, 2013 at Lynmoore at Lawnwood, Fort Pierce, FL. Sally was born in Granite City, IL. She was a resident of Fort Pierce, FL for the past 31 years coming from Hialeah, FL. She was the daughter of Greek immigrants, four times married, twice widowed (Augustine Flaherty and Lawrence Berard). She suffered more heartache and celebrated more good times than most. In her younger days, she made her fame as a burlesque dancer at the Red Barn. For Sally, life was a big dance. She never gave the band a breather. She had a few dance partners, but never left the floor. Her most beloved partner was Larry; her "honey" as she called him. Today she gets to rejoin him on a new dance floor. She loved to travel and experience life to the fullest. She wrote her memoir, "The Clock Still Ticks", and shared her many life experiences with those who loved her. Those whose lives she touched will not soon forget her.
