VINCENT ROBERT LA
PORTE Vincent Robert La Porte (Bob) died on December 12, 2013 at age 66. Bob was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was the son of William Emmett La Porte and Mildred Hubbel (von Eschenbach). He spent most of his working life in Southern NJ. He relocated to Port St. Lucie in 2009 and was a resident there until his passing. He was the loving father to his sons Moses (Rosanne) and Daniel (Marina). He was the grandfather to three grandchildren Zarina (7), Emmett (6) and Wesley (3). He is also survived by his brothers, John La Porte (Jude) and Anthony Tavoloni (Teresa), both of Port St Lucie, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his Sister-in-law, Patricia La Porte, of Memphis, TN. He served proudly as a member of the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam. He loved the ocean, enjoying fishing throughout his life. He was a wonderful chef and enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. Bob was also a great fan of Philadelphia and all of its sports teams. A memorial service will be held on January 17th, 2014 at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL at 1:30 in the afternoon. The cemetery address is 6501 S.
