Richard Wolf Obituary

Richard Elmo Wolf, 88, died May 20, 2010, in Fort Pierce. He was a native of Fort Pierce. He was a contractor. He was an Army veteran, serving in the Glider Infantry during World War II. He was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church and a Eucharistic minister. He was a member of American Legion, Post 40; and Moose Lodge 248. He was in the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree; and Santa Lucia General Assembly Knights of Columbus, 4th degree. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Wolf of Fort Pierce; son, Richard F. Wolf of Fort Pierce; daughters, Doris Walden of Fort Lauderdale and Ellan Rice of Vero Beach; stepdaughter, Annamary Gilanyi of Warren, Ohio; brothers, Frank P. Wolf Jr. and William L. Wolf, both of Fort Pierce; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Vivian Baumker. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Treasure Coast, 1201 S.E. Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997. Services: Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. May 25 at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel, with a wake service at 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. May 26 at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, Fort Pierce. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life will follow at the funeral home. A guest book is available at haisleyfuneralhome.com.
