My dad had a dental office across the street from his office. I wouldn't be here without him. He convinced my mother to have me.

Uncle Dick will forever and always be in our hearts and memories. He made such an amazing impact on all our lives.
I remember visiting as a kid in the summer. I will never forget those summer days he and i spent running around outside playing hide and go seek , or the time that he dressed up like Santa Clause and popped up on my door step. These are a few of the many many memories he has left us with that will never fade away.
Now we come together to remember him and celebrate what an amazing life he had and how he has made memories that won't be forgotten.
I love you all very much ! Don't ever forget that

Aunt Tellie, Terry, Jacque, & Kayleen,
My heartfelt condolences on the loss of a man who was truly one of a kind. I am glad that I was able to visit with him briefly during my trip in February. Uncle Dick was one of my favorites. I'll never forget how much stuff he had collected - ice skates in Florida always cracks me up.
I visited Mom and Dad a few years back with my husband Jack and Uncle Dick accompanied us on a fishing excursion. They were quite a sight to see - Jack is 6'6" and Dick was so short - but they hung out together and fished the entire trip. Jack really enjoyed getting to know Uncle Dick too.
I will miss him not being there across the street when I visit Mom & Dad.

What can I say about such a wonderful man. He was always so patient with this new mother trying to raise her two girls. I just returned from Colorado and one of the first questions my daughter Kim asked was "How is Dr Penick?" She always talked about Penick's Pond as we called it.
God bless all of you. Kathy Budd Wiggins

Aunt Tellie, Terry, Jacque, & Kayleen,
I was very much saddened at hearing of the passing of Uncle Dick. Although I didn't get to see him much, I always considered him my favorite Uncle. He was so darn funny at times, goffy at others, and always made me feel good when I was around him. Mom and Dad would always come back from a visit with him laughing at something he had done while they were there. The one I remember most was when the Mercedes ran out of gas going up some hill somewhere. Since Florida is pretty flat, I imagine that maybe occurred elswhere. Nevertheless, he will be missed by everyone around him.
I think of you guys often, and hope you and your families are doing well. Donna said she found a few of you on Facebook. I had looked myself several times but didn't see your pages anywhere. Donna is emailing me a couple of numbers and addresses she found.
I hope to be able to attend the tribute at the end of the month, but that will depend on how my health is fairing. I have Crohn's disease, which has severly altered my lifestyle to say the least. I am better now after several surgeries and treatments, but still have to contend with inordinate trips to the restroom, etc. I'm retired disability now, although I didn't want to stop working, the disease made it difficult to continue.
Anyway, I hope you all are doing well. Feel free to contact me on Facebook if you'd like. I would love to hear from you.
