Barbara Hedges

Barbara A. Hedges, 73, died June 11, 2011, at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart. She was born in Joliet, Ill., and lived in Stuart for 17 years, coming from Midlothian, Ill. Before retirement, she was executive assistant to the superintendent of the Bremen School District in Midlothian. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Stuart. Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Hensel of Midlothian; son, Tim Hedges of Stuart; brothers, Nick Kirincic of Cherry Hill, N.J., and Paul Kirincic of Mill Valley, Calif.; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hedges, in 2009. Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 S.E. Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997. Services: A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. June 17 at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Arrangements are by Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
