Bernice D. Morman, 57, died March 11, 2013, at home. She was born in Stuart. She was employed by the Martin County School Board, working at Crystal Lake Elementary School in Stuart as a computer technician and also worked at Sandy Pines in Stuart. She was a member of the Port Salerno Church of God in Port Salerno and a former member of New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Hobe Sound. Survivors include her husband, Richard Lee Morman; sons, Charlie Louis Morman and Eric Morman; daughter, Cassandra Ren Morman; mother, Betty Haston, all of Hobe Sound; stepson, Richard Lee Morman Jr., of Tennessee; brothers, Troy Rich Jr., Daniel Rich, Nathaniel Gibson Jr. and Van Gibson, all of Hobe Sound; sisters, Lovetta Hodge Baxter and Catherine Jackson both of Hobe Sound; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie William Hodge; daughter, Bernette Laniece Montgomery; maternal grandparents, Barney and Lillie Bell "Honey" Haston and paternal grandmother, Lucille Hodge. Services: Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. March 22 at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel in Stuart. A home going celebration will be at 2 p.m. March 23 at Port Salerno Church of God in Port Salerno.
