Blanche Julia Hertelendy

Blanche Julia Hertelendy, 93, died May 6, 2011, at Stuart Nursing and Restorative Care Center. She was born in Glenfield, N.Y., moved to Romania after World War I and returned to the United States in 1928. She lived in Florida since the early 1970s, coming from New Milford, N.J. She was a homemaker and co-owner of Classic Upholstery in Port Salerno. Survivors include her sons, Joseph Esposito of Fort Pierce, William Hertelendy of Port St. Lucie and Stephen Hertelendy of Royal Palm Beach; and sisters, Anna Strelchik and Amelia Winkle, both of Port St. Lucie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Hertelendy. Memorial contributions may be made to Stuart Nursing and Restorative Care, 1500 Palm Beach Road, Stuart, FL 34994. Services: A celebration of life will be at a later date at the Spanish Lakes Golf Village clubhouse in Port St. Lucie. Arrangements are by Forest Hills Funeral Home â€Â" Palm City Chapel.
