Darnell David Durden, 67, died Dec. 27, 2012, at his home. He was born in Vero Beach and lived in Kissimmee. He was a former auto body repairman. He was an Army veteran. He was a Protestant. He was an airboat captain and belonged to an airboat club. Survivors include his wife, Ethel Durden of Kissimmee; daughter, Rebecca Jeffers of Davenport; sons, David Durden and Eddie Durden, both of Fort Pierce, and Phillip Durden of Port St. Lucie; stepdaughter, Patty Arnold of Okeechobee; stepson, Steve Arnold of Okeechobee; mother, Melvia Durden Hinton; brother, Art Durden of Tennessee; sisters, Bettie Cason of Deltona, Darlene Duckworth of Royal Palm Beach, Rita Harrison of Alabama and Patricia McDaniel of Georgia; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services: Graveside services were conducted on Jan. 2 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Arrangements are by Osceola Memory Gardens in Kissimmee.
