David Major

David Major, 86, died June 6, 2011, at his home. He was born in Nassau, Bahamas, and lived in Stuart for more than 50 years, coming from the Bahamas. Survivors include his sons, Jerald Major and Hiram Major, both of Stuart; sisters, Lottie Davis, Margery Kemp and Murtis Darville, all of Nassau; brothers, Albury Major and Gerald Major, both of Nassau; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Leonard. Services: Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. June 10 and 1 to 2 p.m. June 11 at All County Funeral Home and Crematory in Stuart. A service and video presentation will be at 2 p.m. June 11 at the funeral home.
