Dolores Florio, 81, died Dec. 4, 2012, at the Treasure Coast Hospice in Fort Pierce. She was born in Bound Brook, N.J., and lived in Port St. Lucie for seven years, coming from Tequesta. Before retirement, she and her husband were investors in the Young and Prill Funeral Home Group, the Seawinds Funeral Home Group, the former owners of Cove Video and many other businesses. She was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Michael Florio; daughter, Michelle Florio of Port St. Lucie; and sisters, Joyce Gottung of Port St. Lucie and Janice Ney of Manahawkin, N.J. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, N.Y. 10004. Services: A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Dec. 10 at St. Christopher's Catholic Church in Hobe Sound, with a reception to follow.
