Donald E. King Sr., 87, died Dec. 4, 2012, at Treasure Coast Hospice Residence in Stuart. He was born in Canton, Ohio, and lived in Stuart for three years, coming from Ohio. He was an Army veteran. Before retirement, he worked for A&P Grocery Stores for more than 40 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stuart. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife, Virgina F. King of Stuart; daughter, Mary Davison of Massillon, Ohio; sons, Donald E. King Jr. of Canton, James Carl King of Climax, N.C., David King of Stuart, Gregory King and Charles King, both of Hobe Sound, and Patrick King of Oregon, Ohio; brothers, Paul King and Howard King; sister: Dorothy Rohn; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to House of Hope, 2484 S.E. Bonita St., Stuart, FL 34997. Services: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stuart.
