Donald F. Greist, 72, died June 28, 2013, at his home. He was born in Redding, Conn., and lived in Sewall's Point since 1997. He worked as an architect for Pocock and Lewis in Jupiter until retirement, and then continued to work on his own projects until 2012. Previously, he had his own firm for many years in Borrego Springs, Calif., designing projects from houses to country clubs. He graduated from the School of Architecture at the University of Florida. Survivors include his wife, Janice King Greist of Sewall's Point; daughter, Catherine Akers of Cleveland; son, Mathew Greist of Atlanta; brothers, Lew Greist of West Grove, Pa., and Gordon Greist of Mansfield, Pa.; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, E. Harold Greist Jr.; and sister, Patricia Brady. Memorial contributions may be made to
