DOROTHY "DOTTIE" STEPHENS Dorothy "Dottie" Stephens of Mequon, WI and Vero Beach, FL passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the age of 80 at Horizon Hospice/St. Mary's Ozaukee. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald G. Stephens in 1999. It was a privilege for the family to be with her in her final moments as she peacefully left this world. Dorothy will be deeply missed. She is survived by her daughters Lynn and Beth and their extended families, her grandchildren, Kelly Pausch (Richard), Michael Tock, David Tock, and Christopher Tock (Lauren Pausch), great grandchildren Nathan and Tessa. She was also loved and will be remembered by many dear friends, both at Pointe West, in Florida, and in Wisconsin. Dorothy and Donald were married February 5, 1949. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and took great pride in her family. She was respectfully looked upon as the Matriarch. She loved to show us off! To those who lived far away, she often sent personal letters to let them know what was going on in the family. She loved bridge, golf and reading. Her years at Ozaukee Country Club with Don and all of their friends and our family were treasured. Dorothy will forever be remembered as a role model for her enduring strength, sincerity, and compassion. Remember her now as healed and reunited with her beloved husband and other loved ones who have gone before her.
