George Biehl Obituary

GEORGE R. BIEHL Born February 17, 1917, in Philadelphia, PA. Moved to Vero Beach, Florida, in 1973 from New York City and Longport, New Jersey. Was a former owner and executive of The Movado Watch Company; was a member of the Rockefeller Club, New York City; The 24 Karat Club, New York City; The Cornell Club, New York City; and Riomar Bay Yacht Club, Vero Beach. Was a veteran of World War II, having served with the 158th Regimental Combat Team as an infantry officer in the South West Pacific and Philippine Islands. Was awarded the Silver Star, the Purple Heart, and the Combat Infantry Badge. Was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Vera Ford Biehl. Is survived by two sons, James F. Biehl, of Otis, Massachuset ts, and Miromar Lakes, Florida; and G. Richard Biehl, of Arlington, VA; six grandchildre n; and five great grandchildren. At the request of the deceased, there will be no repose or visitation. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery. Paid Obituary
