Georgene Doyle Obituary

Georgene B. Doyle, 91, died June 7, 2011, at St. Lucie Medical Center, Port St. Lucie. She was born in Akron, Ohio, and lived in Port St. Lucie for 24 years, coming from Riviera Beach. Before retirement, she was a quality control inspector for RCA Corp. in Palm Beach Gardens for 20 years. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Riviera Beach and the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, St. Lucie River Chapter, since 1997. Survivors include her son, Dennis Doyle of Royal Palm Beach; daughters, Marianne Prestage of Port St. Lucie and Joan Colleen Humulock of Mechanicsville, Md.; sister, Marianne Lowe of Malibu, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Doyle; and daughter, Sharon Doyle. Services: Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. June 10 at Forest Hills-Byrd, Young and Prill Funeral Home in Port St. Lucie. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. June 11 at St. Lucie Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie. Burial will follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in West Palm Beach.
