Jeanne Kenyon Obituary


JEANNE HOGAN KENYON Jeanne Hogan Kenyon died peacefully May 15, 2011 after a year-long battle with cancer. Jeanne was a long-time member of the Junior League of Birmingham, Michigan, The Christ Child Society and the Discalced Carmelites. She loved singing in the Holy Name Choir of Birmingham and regularly at nursing homes with the Junior League Music Group. Always an adventurer, Jeanne traveled to Rome, Australia, South America and other destinations with the St. Thomas More Travel Group. Never shying away from the spotlight, Jeanne enjoyed performing in the St. Dunstan's Theater Group of Bloomfield Hills. Jeanne retired from Somerset Leasing last year after 20+ years of making people feel at home. Jeanne was a joyful spirit to lifelong friends and new acquaintances alike. Jeanne loved Vero Beach and visited as often as possible to spend time with her son David. Beloved mother of Bill (Karen), Mary Kenyon, John (Katie), Karen Stetser and David. Grandmother of Bill III, Kristina, Kara, Kimberly, Kendra, John Jr., Justin, Courtney, Austin, Kelly Ann, Michael and Thomas.
