JOHN J. BACICA JOHN J. BACICA, 86 died on Tuesday January 12, 2010 at St. Lucie Medical Center, Port St. Lucie, FL. John was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Port St. Lucie 18 years ago coming from Peoria, IL. Prior to retirement he was a sales engineer for Gates Rubber Company in Peoria, IL and York, PA for 23 years. John served in the US Army during WWII, he was a member of Holy Family Church in Port St. Lucie, FL, received his Engineering Degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. He was the Drexel Chapter President of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He was President of the Catholic Professional Men's Association, Easton, PA Chapter. John was a member of Edgar P. Kable Foundation- Scholarship Selection Committee. He was also American Cancer Society Northampton County Cancer Crusade President and, U.S. Jr. Chamber of Commerce Spoke Award Recipient. Survivors include wife of 59 years Elizabeth Bacica of Port St. Lucie, FL, daughter Elizabeth Emling of Erie, PA, son Sean Yanosh, of Stuart, FL, son Joseph Bacica of South Portland, ME, sister-in-law Carol Bacica , sister-in-law Rose Hamilton of Wilmington, DE, Brother-in-law Daniel Hamilton of Wilmington, DE, son-in-law Jerry Emling of Erie, PA, several nieces and nephews.
