JOHN JOLLEY John was born in Michigan and grew up in Louisville MS later residing in Sharon MA. He retired to Port St Lucie FL in 2000 . He was a professor of ancient and medieval history at Bryant University for thirty- two years. John changed and influenced many lives and is fondly remembered by countless former students. John volunteered his services for many organizations including the Massachusetts Department of Corrections and Alcoholics Anonymous. He was preceded in death by his sister Faye Cravens and his parents Virginia and James Jolley. John's survivors include his partner of forty-eight years, Donald Crist, also of Port St Lucie FL; sisters Carol Turnipseed and Victoria Carlisle of Mississippi, and many nephews and nieces. A celebration of John's life will be held at a later date. Paid Obituary
