Joseph Rusignuolo Obituary

Joseph M. Rusignuolo, 66, died June 2, 2011, at his home. He was born in New Jersey and lived in Port St. Lucie for 45 years, coing from New Jersey. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a cabinet maker in the Treasure Coast area for 40 years. He was of the Catholic faith. He was a former member and president of the Exchange Club. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Rusignuolo of Port St. Lucie; sons, Joseph M. Rusignuolo Jr. and Gary Rusignuolo; stepsons, Michael A. McElrath and Tim A. McElrath; stepdaughter, Wendy S. McElrath; sisters, Anne Santopadre of Palm Coast, Ida Leonard of Hazlet, N.J., and Theresa Tomica of Palm City; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael Rusignuolo Sr. and Antoinette Rusignuolo; sisters, Leonarda Barbara and Francis Tetro; and brothers, Anthony and Michael Rusignuolo Jr. Services: Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. June 7 Aycock Funeral Home Chapel in Port St. Lucie. A funeral will be at 11 a.m. June 8 at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at 10:30 a.m. June 10 at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth. A guestbook is available at aycockportstlucie.com.
