Lena Dawsey-Williams Obituary

Lena Mae Dawsey-Williams, 69, died June 6, 2011, at East Orange General Hospital in East Orange, N.J. She was born in Gordon, Ala., and lived in Newark, N.J., coming from New York and Fort Pierce. Before retirement, she worked for Universal Medical and Dentistry Hospital in New Jersey until 2005. She graduated from Lincoln Park Academy in Fort Pierce in 1961 and the Jones College of Cosmotology in Jacksonville. Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Williams Sr. of Altamonte Springs; son, Robert L. Williams Jr. of Orange, N.J.; brothers, George Dawsey and Tealma Dawsey, both of Fort Pierce; sisters, Mary Mackey of Jensen Beach, Dois Williams of Orlando, Neotha Jones and Linda Dawsey, both of Fort Pierce; and a grandchild. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ida Woodard; and brother, Charles Dawsey. Services: A homegoing service will be at 1 p.m. June 11 at Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ with the Rev. Tealma Dawsey Jr. officiating.
