Lorraine Eberst Obituary

Lorraine M. Eberst, 83, died June 3, 2011, at her home. She was born in Detroit and lived in Jensen Beach for 25 years, coming from Lapeer, Mich. Before retiring, she was a registered nurse at Lapeer County General Hospital in Michigan and Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart. She was a graduate of Providence Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Jensen Beach, and was a volunteer for the American Heart Association. Survivors include her daughters, Janine Wenzel and Deb Eberst, both of Jensen Beach, and Claire Crisher of Warren, Mich.; sons, Lawrence Eberst of Jensen Beach and Jack Eberst of Port St. Lucie; brother, Arthur Baker of Dearborn, Mich.; sister, Geraldine Baker of Dearborn; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Eberst. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 865 S.E. Ocean Blvd., Stuart, FL 34996. Services: A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. June 6 at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Jensen Beach. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Jensen Beach. Arrangements are by Martin Funeral Home & Crematory, Stuart. A guestbook is available at www.heavencalled.com.
