Marjorie Wunderlich Obituary

MARJOR IE WUNDERLICH Marjorie Wunderlich, 91, of Memphis, TN passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Mrs. Wunderlich was born July 30, 1917 in Jonestown, MS. Service s were held on Friday, August 29, 2008 with a private burial for the family which followed immediately at the Memorial Park Cemetery. Memphis Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangement s. She spent a lot of her time as a volunteer at LeBonheur Children's Hospital, was a member of the Salvation Army Auxiliary and Second Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, children, grandchildren and making frequent trips to Vero Beach, FL where she has family. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Alvin Wunderlich; daughter, Robin Wunderlich Williams of Vero Beach, FL; sons, Bill and Kent Wunderlich, both of Memphis; sister, Louise Gagstetter of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, Elaine Wunderlich, Gary K. Wunderlich, Jr., Phillip S. Wunderlich, Alvin William Wunderlich IV, Benjamin C. Wunderlich, Andrew W. Williams, Rev Mark F. Williams, Theodore J. Williams; and sevengreat- grandchildre n. She also leaves two daughters-in- law, Jean B. Wunderlich and Susan T. Wunderlich and ason-in- law, Andrew W. Williams. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dixie Collins and Epsie Jennings. Her joy, love and compassion continue to live in the hearts of her friends and family. Memorial contributions may be made to The Second Presbyterian Church Foundation, LeBonheur Children's Hospital or the charity of the donor's choice.
