Mary Margaret Brown

Mary Margaret Brown, 98, died May 15, 2011, at Tidewell Hospice in Sarasota. She was born in Double Springs, Ala., and lived in Sarasota, coming from Indiantown, where she lived for more than 30 years. Before retirement, she worked for Belk-Lindsey for seven years and was a homemaker. She was a member of Indiantown Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Billie Jean Titus of Sarasota and Lynda Wall of Chiefland; son, Donald Brown of Port St. Lucie; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Gerald Brown. Memorial contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice, 5957 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238. Services: A graveside service was May 19 at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart with the Rev. Mickey Evans officiating. Arrangements are by Martin Funeral Home and Crematory in Stuart.
