Matthew Miller


Matthew Miller, 93, died Nov. 17, 2012, at St. Lucie Medical Center. He was born in Perth Amboy, N.J., and had lived in Fort Pierce for 18 years, coming from Corpus Christi, Texas. He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Lydia Miller of Fort Pierce; daughter, Donna Letsch of Port St. Lucie; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Lawrence M. Miller. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Lucie Catholic Church, 425 S.W. Irving St., Port St. Lucie, FL 34983. Services: Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 19 at Forest Hills-Byrd, Young & Prill Funeral Home in Port St. Lucie. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Nov. 20 at St. Lucie Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie. A guest book is available at
